The Digital Product Passport (DPP), introduced through the European Union’s Green Deal, is no longer just a regulatory requirement — it is becoming the new entry key to global trade.

At Lande, we are already prepared for this future with up to 90% recyclability in our rack cabinets and data center solutions, along with transparent and traceable production processes.

With the European Green Deal and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is transforming into a “digital identity card” that is expected to become mandatory for many product groups — including data center infrastructure. The DPP transparently provides technical, environmental, and supply chain data across the entire product lifecycle, from raw materials and production to use, end-of-life, and recycling.
